Today is December 31st, 2017 – New Year’s Eve. It’s time to think back on the entire year and find my favorite moments. I was able to do so much this year between family, work, and travel. It was hard to narrow it down but here are my favorite 10 moments.
Spoke in front of 600+ people at my work’s annual conference. ! I was super nervous but I didn’t show it at all while speaking. It was only for
It’s a known fact – Everyone should be brushing their teeth every day and with the best toothbrush. Most people may purchase their toothbrushes from the store. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that! However, be sure to do your research on why that is the best toothbrush. Most of them are cheap, not recommended from dentists, and have hard bristles. Now I have finally found the best toothbrush for me, Doctor Plotka’s toothbrush.
I had been thinking of buying a new motorcycle for a couple years now. See, I had owned my red Ninja 650 for a few years. I loved it but I was ready for something new, even after one year. I had held off for a while since my red Ninja 650 was completely paid for and owned by me. Then, this summer all of that changed. It was time to buy a new motorcycle.
Yesterday was my 30th birthday. Unlike most, I didn’t plan any large parties. Instead, I am going to Miami and then a cruise to The Bahamas with my best friend. Although I told many friends I didn’t need anything done for my birthday, two of my friends surprised me with some awesome 30th birthday gifts.
The entire gift was based on turning 30 and little sayings that different people may say about it. Now, you … Continue reading here.
Most of the time, everyone finds new snacks from companies creating new ones. They can range from sweet to healthy snacks and I must say, I enjoy many of them out there. My newest snack that I discovered I love is not only delicious but also healthy. And, my mom helped me discover it, plus gave me a great story to go along with it! My favorite new delicious and healthy snack: ground cherries.
I have always loved animals, even when I was a little girl. In fact, I used to want to be a veterinarian. For years, I would tell everyone that’s what I was going to be when I was a grown-up. This all changed after realizing that being a veterinarian isn’t all pets and cuddles with animals. After realizing this, I decided not to be a veterinarian. Although I chose not to be a veterinarian, I still love all animals and … Continue reading here.
Since I only launched my blog last week, it is definitely still a work in progress. I was very surprised to hear I was nominated not once, but twice for the Liebster Award this week. Once by Judean with HR What??? and then by Erin with Love. Live. Adventure. Thank you, both!!
Now, what in the world is the Liebster Award?
After hearing from both bloggers about being nominated, I had no idea what the award was. I went to … Continue reading here.
How did you spend your Labor Day weekend? I hope with friends and family, at cabins or beaches, or whatever interests you the most! For me, I spent some time on the second phase of decluttering and reorganizing my home.
I hear from people all the time that I’m organized. I don’t always believe so, at least not at home. I do try to be organized but then suddenly I have more and more stuff than I had before. Earlier … Continue reading here.
As mentioned in a previous post, I had plans to go to the Minnesota State Fair, as I do every year. Most years, I either go on the weekend or after work during the week which is when it is packed with people. This year, I took the opportunity to only work a half day and then go to the State Fair for the remainder of the day. I went with a friend, whose husband is from Costa Rica and … Continue reading here.
I remember my first time on a motorcycle. I was 16 and my brother-in-law took me for a ride on his Suzuki Bandit 1200. Now, I had always loved the look and idea of motorcycles, especially Ducuatis (pictured above) but had never had the opportunity to ride a motorcycle until that day.
It was such an amazing feeling! I felt the air on my face and the breeze through my hair. And then we went fast…and I mean, FAST. We … Continue reading here.
