Healthy Habits Tool

One free fitness and healthy habits tool that I use is Achievemint. You may be thinking, “what is it?” Well, let me tell you. It is a platform that rewards you with real cash for healthy activities/habits.

How It Works

I first learned of it in the fall of 2016, but didn’t take it seriously until the beginning of 2017. Boy oh boy, do I wish I had done so earlier! It is an easy, legit way to earn $10 every few months. All you need to do is link some of your health/fitness apps (MyFitnessPal, Fitbit, etc.) to your Achievemint account. From there, keep up your healthy habits on a daily basis, remember to log them, and you’ll earn points. Once you’ve reached 10,000 points from your healthy habits and logging them in your connected apps, you will be eligible to receive the $10.

healthy habitsThere are two different ways to receive your money: PayPal or GiftRocket. It took me a few months to earn the 10,000 points. Once you reach the 10,000 points, you will see a “Redeem your reward” button on your account. Be sure to fully complete your profile before selecting it. If you don’t, you will be prompted to fill it out anyways. In order for them to send your $10, they need a complete profile. After that, you choose if you want to receive your payment via PayPal or GiftRocket. You will then receive a confirmation email. It should only take 3-7 business days to receive your reward.

My Experience

I earned my first $10 after a few months of logging and tracking healthy habits. I was not (and still am not) great at logging every activity and my food intake in my apps. If I had been better, I may have reached the 10,000 points faster.

Once I did hit the 10,000 points and was eligible for my first $10 reward, I filled out my profile and then chose to receive the reward through PayPal. As the website mentioned, I did receive my $10 within 3-7 business days. Once it was in my PayPal account, I transferred it to my checking account without any issues. It was definitely the easiest $10 I’ve made! I am continuing on with Achievemint since it was so easy. Although I am not the best at tracking, it is still worth it to keep the account and motivate me with my goals to lose weight and be healthy.
